– Jay Bruce Mincher, 81, husband of Connie Martha Mincher for fifty-seven years, left this world on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at his home in Idaho Falls. Although he was a dedicated outdoorsman, Connie was the dear of his life. They met in Rapid City, South Dakota, while he was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, in which he served from 1953 – 1961 during the Korean War. He was born on April 21, 1933, at Halfmoon, New York, to George James and Loise Klaiber Mincher. He grew up hunting and fishing in the Adirondacks.
