Jason R. Frechette, age 44, of Dowagiac, died peacefully in his residence Sunday, November 12, 2017.
He was born December 12, 1972 in Dowagiac, Michigan, the third of four children born to David and Phyllis Frechette. There aren’t enough words to describe Jay. Those who knew and loved him will remember his love for his family, his friends and his Lord. He had a beautiful voice and loved to sing.
Jason inherited his father’s artistic creativity. He loved the outdoors, whether hunting, fishing, camping or golfing.
Jason will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Frechette of Dowagiac; one sister, Jennifer (Sharon Riecke) Frechette of Dowagiac; two brothers, the Reverend Jeffrey (Laurie) Frechette, Sr., of Sterling Heights, Joel Frechette of Dowagiac; two nieces, Emma Frechette and Annalynn Frechette; and three nephews, Jeffrey Frechette, Jr., Torin Frechette, and Rhys Frechette. Jason was preceded in death by his father.
