Jason M. Dewberry, 33, of Newnan passed away Saturday, June 06, 2015, at his home. Jason was born on September 13, 1981, to Mark Dewberry and Jenny (Carlisle) Toney.
Jason lived his whole life in Coweta County and was a graduate of Newnan High School in 2000. He was an avid sports fan, especially loving the Georgia Bulldogs, the Atlanta Braves, and the Newnan Cougars. Jason worked alongside his dad in construction for many years before becoming a long-haul truck driver for Montgomery Transport, LLC. Those that knew him loved him for his gentle spirit and his caring attitude. He loved hunting and fishing, but that passion was exceeded only by his love for his wife, Sara Julia (Perkins) Dewberry, and his three children, Mason McClendon Dewberry, Nathan James Dewberry, and Sara Alice “Sallie” Dewberry. His extended family includes his father, Mark Dewberry, and his step-mother Mary Lou Dewberry, his mother, Jenny (Carlisle) Toney, and stepfather, Stanley Toney, his sister, Christy (Dewberry) Alvarado, and her husband, Mark Alvarado. His half-brothers are Jordan Dewberry and Connor Toney. His aunt and uncle are Susan and Howard Shelnutt.
Also, surviving are his in-laws, Chris and Julie Perkins, sisters-in-law, Christy Perkins, Rebecca (Perkins) Giles and her husband Chris Giles, and grandmother-in-law, Julia O’Neil. He had many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that he considered family.
