Jarrett F. Trowbridge, 86, of 1900 B Ravine Road, formerly of Poco Farm Road, died Monday, September 19, 2011 at his home.

Jarrett was predeceased by his wife, the former Thelma M. Paulhamus in 2004.

Jarrett retired from the former City Bus Company, and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, a former Scoutmaster and was active with the Order of the Arrow. He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.

Born May 8, 1925 in Williamsport, he was the son of C. Frank and Margaret Jarrett Trowbridge.

Surviving are a daughter, Nancy C. (William) Reed of Montoursville; sons, Charles A. (Julie) Trowbridge of Linden and Paul V. (Cyndi) Trowbridge of Oregon; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
