Jannie Mae Wilson, 57, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI. She was born November 11, 1958 in Eufaula, Alabama, a daughter of the late Albert Brown Sr. and the late Sarah (King) Brown. She was the wife of the late Roosevelt Wilson (of Boligee, AL).
Other than her parents and husband, Jannie was also preceded in death by her only children, Alejandro “Honda” Brown and Yvette “Sweetie” Brown as well as her grandson Alejandro “Lil Honda” Brown.
Jannie leaves to mourn her memory nine siblings Albert Jr and Leon (both of Cranston, RI), Charles (Nebraska City, NE), William (Abbeville, AL), John, Lena, Althea, Cheyna and Auretha (all of Providence, RI), seven grandchildren, Helluva, Janet, Benjamin, Alexandra, Quran, Turquoise, Leila and seven great grandchildren.
She was a Certified Nurse Assistant and an employee at Women & Infant’s Hospital in Providence, RI. She also worked as a private nursing assistant until the time of her death.
Jannie also leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
