Janis Marlene Ellis-Irwin, 79, of Fort Watlon Beach, Fl., passed over peacefully Tuesday, May 13, 2014, with her family by her side.
She was born in Liberty, KY to the late Clayton and Lela Walden- Ellis on October 24, 1934.
Janis was a business woman and an accountant. Janis pioneered in the Business and Professional Woman Association in 1981.
Janis is preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Irwin; husband, Donald Irwin; brother, Russell Irwin; sister, Joe Bolt; and her parents, Clayton and Lela Ellis.
Surviving are her children: Scott, Stephany, Timothy, Donna; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson; sister, Zona Ellis-Weddle; and cousin’s Betty Hignite-Dorman, Jerry Hignite, David Hignite, Sonja Webber-Wisner; and all her nephews and nieces.
