Janice Stuart Palmer, loving and devoted wife of 50 years to her best friend and high school sweetheart, Henry A Palmer passed away peacefully on Friday July 21, 2017 at her home in Storrs, CT after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was the proud mother of Robert Stuart Palmer of Storrs, CT and Scott Andrew Palmer of Boston MA, grandmother and “Nonnie” to Caitlin Oriana and Madison Olivia Palmer of Storrs. Born in Albany, NY on June 22, 1935, she was the daughter of Marian A. and Donald A. Stuart and sister of the late Bruce A. and Donald A. Stuart. After relocating to Storrs with her husband, she started her career at the University of Connecticut as a secretary in the School of Agriculture. After the better part of four decades she retired as an executive assistant within the administration.
