Ms. Kriston, a Bridgeport native, was born on November 4, 1947, a daughter of the late Daniel and Jennie (Wargo) Ratzenberger. She attended Bridgeport schools and had an associate’s degree from Alberta Magnus. She retired from People’s Bank in 2010 and moved to North Carolina to spend to with her son and his family.
