Janice Marie Olson, age 92, of Columbus, passed away on June 11, 2017, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Jan was born July 21, 1924, to the late Louis and Catherine (Ehret) Kempf in Columbus. She was a life-long devout Christian and was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church for many years. Jan will be remembered as a loving wife, mom, grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by her sons, Mark (Linda) Olson, Greg (Mary) Olson; daughter, Cathy (John) Serb; grandchildren, Wesley (Nicole), Christopher, Kyle, Ryan and Logan Olson, Jim (Jennifer) and Matt Serb; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Jace, Annaise; and many nieces & nephews. Jan was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Olson; her brother; and sisters.
