Janice Marie MacDonald Narcavage., age 77 of Norwood passed away suddenly on January 19, 2022. Janice was a beautiful, loving mother of four children. She loved Elvis and the Irish Tenors. She enjoyed spending time in the mountains of Pennsylvania; although her heart ached for the rolling hills of Ireland. She loved the Mummers, road trips, and dinners with family; even more so when she was cooking for them. She loved her family, God and her country.Daughter of the late John & Marion O’Neill and the youngest sister of Patricia and John, both of whom predeceased her. Born and raised in Philadelphia, as the daughter of a Mummer, her love of them began at an early age and lasted a lifetime. She was a 1963 graduate of John Bartram High School. Shortly after high school. she met and married her late husband Robert (Bob), relocating to Delaware County where they raised their family in Ridley and Middletown until Bob passed in 1988. In 1990, she met and married Sandy Herzfeld and were happily together until his sudden Passing in 2004. She went on to join a bereavement group at her church where she met her beloved Alex who she went on to marry in 2017.—they were a light in each other’s lives and they enjoyed life to the fullest. Alex predeceased her by 8 days, her heart was with his.Janice was a loving mother of John (Susan Sammartino) MacDonald, Daneen (Paul) Pierangeli, Kathi (Bob) Culp, and Bob (Angela) MacDonald. Her cherished 14 grandchildren and her blessing of 6 great grandchildren with another joining the family in will always remember her love, smile, laughter, and spunkiness.
