Janice M. Cassidy, 74, of Fortville passed away March 15, 2012 at her home. She was born October 5, 1937 in Fortville to the late Frank and Mary (Bohall) Trueblood. Janice was a 1955 graduate of Fortville High School. She served first as Clerk/Treasurer for the Town of Ingalls and after 21 years of service, retired in 1999 as Postmaster of Ingalls. Janice was a member of Fortville Christian Church, Greenfield Red Hat Society, and Fortville Book Club. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, reading and antiquing.
She is survived by daughters: Kelly (Royce) Kimble of Ingalls; Debra (Sonny) Head of Fortville; and Kamela (Ben) Wade of Fortville; grandchildren: Garry Alayne (Jennifer) of Ingalls; Jason Ryan Kimble of Ingalls; Matthew (Jess) Kimble of Ingalls; Aleah Wade of Oaklandon; Cody Head of Fortville and Kristin Wade of Fortville; six great-grandchildren; brothers: Harley (Nancy) Trueblood of Anderson; Tracy (Diane) Trueblood of Fortville; and Phillip Michael (Colleen) Trueblood of North Manchester; and special caregivers: Jess, Sharon, Diana and Karen.
She was preceded in death by sister Frankanna and infant son John.
