Mrs. Janice K. Moran, age 72, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Vincent O. Moran, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2008 in Milford Hospital.
Daughter of the late Earl C. and Ethel Marie (Jaggers) Holmes, she was born on July 31, 1936 in Wildwood, NJ. Janice worked for Sikorsky Aircraft for 23 years before retiring in 2006. She was a past Sunday school teacher and was a past den mother for her boy’s cub scouts troops. She also played an active role in the past for the G.O.P.
Survivors include her four children, Donald J. McCall of Milford, Dawn Destefano of Stafford Springs, Darrell Moran and his wife Christine and Darren Wilbur and her husband Stanley all of Milford, eleven cherished grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Breta Fiore of Stratford, and several nieces and nephews.
