Janice Hunsaker Ayala
Brigham City – Janice Ayala, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away on March 20, 2016 after a long struggle with Altsheimers. She was 87.
Janice was born in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho on January 7, 1929, a daughter of Abraham and Ella
Hunsaker. She was the eldest of three daughters. She attended elementary school in Lava and later the family moved to Brigham City.
She married Ramon Ayala on September 30, 1947. Together, they raised four children: Michael
(Susan), Linda Jones (Rod}, Chad (Susan) and Dione Hewlett (Jeff). They raised their family in
Brigham City and after retiring, they built a home in Honeyville, where they lived for many years.
She was the first female postal worker hired in Brigham City.
