Mrs. Janet Virginia (Zane) Osborn, 77, of Woodbury died peacefully at home on Monday April 25, 2011 surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of fifty five years, Ormonde “Skip” Osborn.
Mrs. Osborn was born on July 21, 1933 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Enos Irwin and Calla (Janes) Zane. She grew up and attended schools in Watertown. She and her husband raised their family in Woodbury. She worked at Hickory Hill Rest Home, at Phillip’s Diner for many years, and then in the Woodbury Tax Collector’s office until her retirement.
