Janet M. Wynne, 77
Janet M. Wynne, 77, of Pinehurst, Idaho, passed away September 3, 2019 at the Shoshone Medical Center of Kellogg, Idaho.
Janet moved to the Silver Valley with her family in 1962 from Butte, Montana.
Janet worked several jobs over the years including driving school bus, working as a CNA, waitress, and also driving for Meals on Wheels. All while raising her ten children.
In her free time Janet enjoyed going bowling and played on a league for a number of years. She also enjoyed cheering for the Seattle Mariners and the Kansa City Chiefs. She enjoyed camping with the family and friends, especially our annual Labor Day camping trips to Bloom Peak to pick huckleberries. Janet loved being with her family. It didn’t matter what they were doing she just wanted to spend time with them. She especially loved spoiling her grandchildren. She was always there when anyone needed her, she was a kind and loving soul.
Two very special people in her life were her daughter Ree and grandson Bryan. She often said that without their undying love and dedication to her and her care that she would not know what she would do. They are truly two amazing people and we as a family will be forever grateful.
Janet was always so proud of her family and how they loved one another and were always there for her and each other. Of special note would be her grandson Justin and his wife Leeann who lived close by and were always there to lend a helping hand.
In 1982, Janet was united in marriage to Junior Wynne in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Junior passed away in 1994.
Janet is survived by her ten children Mary (Raymond) Walter, Gary Wynne, Leslie Lande, James(Lori) Harrington, Dan (Jane) Harrington, Pat (Kim) Harrington, Mary Kay (RJ) Keener, Ree Mitchell, Patty (Gary) Rinaudo and Billy Harrington; twenty-one grandchildren Michelle, Renae, Ray, Nikki, Danny, Zyra, Trent, Jason, Alyssa, Morgan, Jaimi, Corey, Ryan, Amanda, Chelsea, Janet, Justin, Bryan, Jalynn, Vance, and Vanessa. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; her sister Hazel Postlethwaite; two sister-in-laws; Helen Howell and Doris Wynne, and numerous nieces and nephews. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, husband Junior, seven siblings, her son Melvin Harrington, and two very dear friends Deannie Windedahl and Sharon Allen.
