Janet A. Karpecik (nee: Hatcher) of Burlington Township, passed away on Thursday in Virtua Health & Rehabilitation Center at the age of 83. Janet was very active in All Saints Church and in her community. She retired from Burlington Township School District as a cafeteria Matron.
She served as Secretary for Relief Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, the Burlington Township Seniors Association and St. Anne’s Society. Janet was also a member of All Saints Altar Rosary Society and its senior citizens club. She also served as Past President of VFW Post 1817. In her spare time she enjoyed playing bingo and socializing.
Wife of the late Walter J. Karpecik, Sr., she is survived by her daughter and son in law Theresa A. and Cecil Frazier; son Walter J. Karpecik, Jr; grandsons William B. and Marc Emmons; sister Ann Bucchi; nieces: Sherri, MaryAnn, Arlene, Pauline, Louise, Adele, Joanne; nephew Shorty and her dear friends Betty and Leon Hines.
