Janet Gail Murphy Koger, 64 of 8953 Martinsville Hwy, Danville died at her residence Thursday, February 17, 2011. Born October 9, 1946 in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Edith Thurman Murphy and the late George Leonard Murphy. She was formerly employed at American Furniture Co. for 30 years. She was a member of St. Mark’s Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was married to Posey Koger of the residence. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Jeff Koger and wife, Denise of Martinsville, her sisters, Becky Evans and husband, Bob of Danville and Susan Burnett and husband, Charles of Blairs and her brother Leonard Clayton Murphy Sr. and wife, Virginia of Danville.
