Janet B. Reid, 83, of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014 in Alexandria Manor in Bath. She was the wife of Lenox L. Reid. They celebrated 61 years of marriage last September. Born in East Stroudsburg, Pa. she was the daughter of the late Joseph I. and Olive V. (Miller) Bolich. Janet received her Bachelor degree in 1973 and her Masters Degree in Library Science in 1977 from Kutztown University. She began her career as a Library Aide from 1968-1970 at Venice Jr. High School in Venice, FL and was a Librarian from 1973-1985 at Northampton High School and a Children’s Librarian from 1985-1989 in the Cape May County Library in NJ. Janet was a member of the AAUW. Survivors: with her husband, Lenox are her sons, Todd S. Reid and his wife Janet of Nazareth, Terrence S. Reid and his wife, Lisa of Bellefonte, PA; her daughter, Tracy S. Reid of New York City; 4 grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica, Alex and Nicholas.
