Janet Ann (Budris) Mongillo, 55, of Plainville, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain.
She was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 19, 1955, one of four children to the late Bernard C. and Veronica (Pocuis) Budris. She moved to Plainville at a young age, graduating from Plainville High School. She was employed at Wal-Mart in Bristol, where she leaves many friends and co-workers. Janet will be remembered for her kindness towards others and love for her family. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Nicholas M. Mongillo of Plainville; her son, Kevin Budris of Knoxville, TN; her sisters, Veronica Quereux of Plainville and Carolyn Lumbra of Southington; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her mother-in-law, Louise Cahill and her husband, Melvin of New Britain; and her sisters-in-law, Eva Budris of Plainville, and Dee Mongillo and Philomena Dubrosky, both of New Britain. She was predeceased by her brother, Bernard J. Budris.
Janet’s family will celebrate her life privately.
