Jane Pimental, 81, of Plymouth passed away on February 8, 2022 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth following a brief illness. Born in Plymouth on November 28, 1940, Jane was the daughter of the late Ernest Louis and Emily Theresa (Furtado) Pimental. She was educated in Plymouth, graduating with the Class of 1958. Shortly after high school Jane moved to Boston and eventually into the real estate field. For a time she lived in and sold condos in the old Prince Spaghetti building in the North End. She eventually returned to Plymouth working as a Realtor for Belsito and Tassinari along with occasional bar shifts at Plymouth Yacht Club and her family’s business “Ernies’s Restaurant” before she found a niche as a Head Hunter specializing in the medical field. Jane always enjoyed things that were unique and artsy. She always felt of herself that way and relished the role of going against the grain. When coming upon the button that says “are you sure?” Jane always pushed the button. Jane was the loving sister of Michael A Pimental and his partner Holly Prunty of Plymouth, Rosemary Pimental of Asheville NC, and Patricia Pimental and her spouse Judy Cox of Asheville NC. She was the beloved aunt of Christopher Reardon, Matthew, Jarrod, and Alec Pimental and great-aunt of Mavis Reardon. She was pre deceased by her brother Gerald Pimental. Jane also leaves behind her most prized possession, her cat, “Miss Posie Parker”.
