Jane M. (Flores) Helfrich, 73, of Allentown, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown. She was the wife of Leonard E. Helfrich. They celebrated 17 years of marriage in April. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Ida (Kepfer) Flores. Jane graduated from Liberty High School in 1959 and later Cosmetology School. She was a cashier at the former Acme Markets on Easton Avenue in Bethlehem and in Quakertown and later worked at Wegman’s, until she retired. Previously, she owned and operated the “Jane Santoro Beauty Salon.” Jane was very fit and loved to bake and especially enjoyed her home and her family. She was an avid dog lover. Jane was a devout Christian and more recently attended St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Bethlehem with her daughter. Survivors: with her loving husband, Len are her daughters, Gina M. Santoro and Patti J. Santoro, both of Bethlehem; her son, Anthony G. Santoro of Catasauqua; a brother David Flores and his wife, Sandra of Bethlehem. A brother, Kenneth Flores, Jr. died earlier.
