Schwarz, Jane K. Died at the age of 83 on September 5, 2009 in Westchester County, New York. So loved by her late husband Preston, her two daughters Nanci Lottner and Barbara Mallaney, son-in-laws Gene Lottner and William Mallaney, granddaughter Glory Brynn Lottner, and brother Paul Kempner. Jane was respected and admired by close friends and educational colleagues. She graduated from New York University with both a B.S. and M.A. She later received a second masters at Manhattanville College in special education. An innovative educator so dedicated to her craft that she continued teaching up until her death. For over forty years she was an active member of the 21-Phi chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma. Her wonderful wit, sense of humor and loyalty endeared her to everyone she touched throughout her life.
