Jane Bullock Edwards passed away October 14, 2014. She was 87 years old and is survived by her 4 children, Melissa Smithee, John Edwards, Kenneth Edwards and Elizabeth Harris. She is also survived by and took great pride in her 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Jane was born on August 29th, 1927 in Fort Worth, Texas. She married John Lawrence Edwards on September 4th, 1947. After raising her 4 children, Jane was blessed to have experienced many adventures in traveling with her husband in the 1980’s. They lived in Saudi Arabia for 4 years during a season when John worked for ARAMCO. They visited many countries and even owned a small “villa” in Majorca, Spain for a short time.
Jane will be remembered for her whimsical side, as she would often serenade us with her old camp songs! She had a huge sweet tooth and loved to play solitaire, bingo and read mystery novels. But she will be remembered most for the generosity, selflessness and the unconditional love she had for her children and grandchildren. Jane always showed great concern for their well being and was a great source of encouragement and hope always believing the best in us all.
