She was born on August 19, 1974, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Jerry and Wanda Thielen.Jami graduated from Lewis Central High School in 1993, and Iowa Western Community College, with a Degree in Childhood Development. She worked at Echo Plus Inc. In Spirit Lake. Jami viewed going to work as going to spend time with her extended family.
She enjoyed spending her spare time listening to music, watching movies and her dog, Daisy.Jami is survived by her parents, Jerry and Wanda Thielen of Arnolds Park
