James Zemlicka passed away peacefully on October 20th, 2015 in Boerne, Texas. A graduate of Garfield Hts. High School in Garfield Hts., Ohio 44125, he resided in Ohio until 2012 when he retired to Boerne to be close to his daughter and son-in-law. He proudly served his country in Vietnam and was honorably discharged from the U S Army on October 4, 1972.“Jim” was employed at Lester Industries in Bedford Hts., Ohio, as a Quality Control Inspector for 46 years. After they closed their doors, he retired and moved to Texas. He was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2013 and fought a courageous battle until his passing.Jim is survived by his wife of 52 years, Eileen; his daughter, Chris Southers (Frank) and two “grand pets” Bailey and Katy, all of whom he loved devotedly and dearly. He is greatly missed by his family and some new friends he made at his residence in Boerne.A private family memorial is being planned at a later date.
