James William Brown, 73, of Middletown, passed away on April 26, 2017, at his residence. He was born on February 1, 1944, in Elwood, Indiana, and resided most of his life in Middletown.
James served his country in the National Guard. He retired from Delco Remy and was a farmer and gardener.
James is survived by his loving spouse of 48 years, Penny (Carpenter) Brown; daughters, Loree D. White and Kerry D. (Jason) Brown-Lewis; siblings, Mary Richard, Dorothy (Jim) Snowden, Daniel (Bonnie) Brown; 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna Marie and Daniel John Brown.
