James William Bales, age 62, of Rensselaer, IN passed away at his residence on Monday August 9, 2010. James was born on January 21, 1948 to the late William James Bales and Violet Esther nee Warran. On July 6, 1968 in Rensselaer, IN James married Trudy nee Griggs.
James graduated from Morocco High school class of 1967. He was a foreman/ supervisor for Globe Industries Inc. In Lowell, IN for 19 years. He later went to work for Tefft Pallet in Tefft, IN where he had worked as a manager. James went on to work for 11 years at Arcelormittal in Burns Harbor, MI. James served our country in the United States Army-Vietnam. He was a Member of Brushwood United Methodist Church, Rensselaer, IN.
James is survived by; His loving wife Trudy nee Griggs Bales, three sons, Timothy (Melanie) Bales of Sheridan, IN, Chad (Crystal) Bales of Wheatfield, IN, Cameron (Sonya) Bales of Rensselaer, IN, one daughter, Latishia (Brian) Krintz of Rensselaer, IN, one sister, Diana (Joe) Nolan of St. Joseph, IL, one brother, Robert Bales of Nashville, TN, and ten grandchildren. James is preceded in death by; His parents and two grandchildren.
