James was a Truck Driver and a member of the Baptist was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Webster Hartfield and Audrey Faye Payne Hartfield; and his brother, Eugene to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, Ray Marie Sapia Hartfield; his daughters, Paula Ann Wincek and Virginia (Ealy) Black; and his son, Bobbie (Nancy) Ward, Jr.; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and his sisters and brothers, Mary Faye (Robert) Brandon, Ruth (Jim) Sowa, John (Deb) Hartfield, Shirley Hartfield, Sebert Hartfield, and Charlie (Tina) Hartfield.
