Mr. James Walter Moss, age 82, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at his home in Fayetteville, GA. He was born September 16, 1932 in Atlanta, Ga., to late James Edgar Moss of Palmetto GA., and Lunell Banks Moss of Fayetteville Ga., and long time residence of Mountain View Ga. James served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 4 years, with two years in Japan during the Korean War. He was an avid sportsman and fan. In High School he played football and pitched for Jonesboro High School. He followed the Atlanta Braves and Falcons with great interest. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Glenna Thompson Moss.
