James Wells Calmar, Sr., 79, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020, in the care of ManorCare, Bethlehem. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Gross) Calmar, with whom he shared almost 57 years of loving marriage.
Born on December 7, 1941 in Bethlehem, James was a son of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Palinkas) Calmar. James worked for Bethlehem Steel for many years. He was a member of the Steel City Gun Club. James was an avid fisherman, hunter and target shooter. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors: James will be lovingly missed by his wife Barbara; son, James W. Calmar Jr.; daughter, Shelley Griesinger; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. James was predeceased by brother, Frank Calmar Jr.
