James Curtis Gadis, age 66, departed peacefully in the arms of his wife on September 25, 2019 at their home in Indianapolis, IN after a courageous battle with cancer.

 

James was born on September 10, 1953 in Indianapolis, IN to John and Emma Gadis. He attended Indiana Public Schools and graduated from Arsenal Tech High School.

 

James united in holy matrimony to Theresa Anne Malone on June 26, 2004 and they enjoyed a beautiful life together and created  wonderful memories.

 

James C. Gadis was affectionately known as “Tippin EZ” to family and friends. He had an outgoing personality, infectious smile, and a wonderful sense of humor.

 

James was the founder and president of the EZ Rider Van Club and a member of the Southern Cross #39 Lodge.

 

He is preceded in death by his mother, Emma Gadis. His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his father, John Gadis; wife and best friend, Theresa Gadis; three brothers, Lee Gadis, Tommie      Gadis, and Jermaine Gadis (Lisa); four sisters, Lillie Mae Riley, Tina Moore (Dwight), Dorothy Washington, and Joyce Mickens (Rodney); two daughters, Trinette Gadis and Tiffany Gadis–      Williams (Anthony), two sons, Keith Malone (Deborah) and Lamond Malone (Shannon); 16 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, an abundance of nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
