James “Jimmy” Thor Oeffler, 55, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 5:25 p.m. at Union Hospital. He was born December 19, 1960 in Terre Haute, Indiana to James Leroy Oeffler and Charity Higham Wessol. He was the owner and operator of the Park Avenue Diner. Jimmy loved sports, especially the Chicago Bears, St. Louis Cardinals, and IU Basketball. He liked to ride vintage Harley’s, he would say, “I’m just going to catch a breeze,” when he would go on a short ride. He listened to classic rock music. He enjoyed playing golf with his brother’s and anyone who wanted to play with him.
