James Thomas Pickett,66, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday Feb. 27, 2016 in Indianapolis. He was born May 9, 1949 in Indianapolis to George and Cornita (Chesher) Pickett.
He was employed with Penn Central/Conrail railroad. James was a professional pool player and was a member of the Billiard Congress of America.
Survivors include his mother, Cornita Pickett of Indianapolis, a son, Jason Pickett of Lafayette, three sisters, Brenda Mendenhall of Franklin, Georgetta (James) McLinn and Dalena Pickett both of Indianapolis, and a brother, Jerry (Julie) Pickett of Trafalgar.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Pickett and two sisters, Alica Ann Pelz and Sandra Pickett.
