James T. Stayton of Willingboro, died Thursday, October 3rd at Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mt. Holly, he was 57 years of age. Born in Mt. Holly on August 27, 1956 he is the son of Lewis and Jacqueline (nee Humes) Stayton. A United States Marine Corps veteran, Jim was honorably discharged after serving his country from 1974 to 1985. He had been employed by the Riverside Board of Education in the custodial department retiring in 2011. Jim enjoyed collectibles, especially coin collecting.

He enjoyed hunting, especially on the family farm in West Virginia and traveling and vacationing throughout the United States with his wife, Cecelia. Jim loved his time in the Marines and was an avid auto enthusiast with a love for fast cars. A big Dallas Cowboys fan he was also a huge SyFi movie buff.

In addition to his parents, Jim is survived by his wife of 12 years, Cecelia (nee Huryn) Stayton, his children: Jenifer Stayton, Andrew Stayton, James Nash, Steven Nash and Cheryl (Robert) Bocox. He is also survived by his siblings and their spouses: Donna (Mark) Thurman, Sherri (David) Patriarca and Grace (Bill) Page as well as 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
