James T. Limaxes, 78, died October 2, 2013 at Woodcrest Health Care Center, New Milford.
Born in Jersey City, he lived in New Milford since 1968. He was the owner of the Chapel Street Liquors in Newark, where he worked for 35 years before retiring in 2003.
He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the AARP of Bergenfield and the Senior Citizens of New Milford.
