James “Reb” Filanoski James “Reb” Filanoski of Danbury, formerly of Stamford, went home November 5th, 2012 at the age of 65 after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. Reb is the beloved husband of Jane, loving father of Michael Patrick and Kathryn Leigh, loving stepfather of Jason Schreiber and Jamie Schreiber, adorning grandfather of Serenity Alyse Schreiber, beloved brother of John “Jack” Filanoski and sister Jill Foster. He also wishes to have acknowledged his deep affection for Jennifer and Casey as well as Cathy, the mother of his children. Jim, as he was know to his co-workers, was a longtime employee of AT&T and was a member of the CWA. Jim was born and raised in Stamford, CT and a resident of Danbury, CT at the time of his death. Jim and the family would like to thank and express their appreciation to the Nejame organization for the kindness shown throughout his illness.
