James Randell (Randy) Stokes
James Randell (Randy) Stokes, Sr. died December 8, 2015. Randy was born in Andalusia, AL on September 2, 1932. He grew up in Andalusia and left High School during the Korean War to join the US Army.
Randy was preceded in death by his wife Katherine “Kay” Chine Stokes, his father Earl Hampton Stokes, his mother Pauline Kirkland Stokes Waters and his twin brother Eugene M. Stokes who died at birth.
He is survived by his son, James Randell Stokes, Jr. and wife Andrea; daughters, Judy Reisenberg and husband Ken, Jennifer Petrillo, Janet Chalk and husband Don; his grandchildren, Ross Butler, Annie Hardy, Ryan Petrillo, Christina Petrillo, Drew Chalk, Conner Chalk, LylaKae Stokes, Bryna Stokes, Rand Stokes and Champ Stokes all of the Fort Walton Beach/Crestview, FL area; Nieces he loved like daughters, Terri Roberts and husband Mike, Melli Pappas and husband Johnny of Fort Walton Beach, FL; Many nieces and nephews and cousins he dearly loved in Fort Walton Beach, FL, Panama City, FL, Andalusia, AL and the Youngstown, OH surrounding areas. He is also survived by his sister Betty Stillwell (CA), his half brothers, Tommy Waters (AL), Kevin Waters (CA), Jerry Waters (FL), and half sister Silvia Waters Mauldin (OK) and dear family friend Alice Rodgers.
