Mac Donald, James “Jimmy Mac” Mac Donald, age 63, of Stratford, Jimmy Mac moved his Karaoke mic to The Band of Angels on May 10, 2017 in St. Vincent’s Medical Center with his loving family by his side. James was born in Bridgeport to the late James and Catherine Mac Donald. He worked at JBD as well as The Stationhouse Wine Bar and Grill. He always gave the world a song to sing. From pros to shy singers to the children at the Perry House he would inevitably set your perfect refrain. Of course we will never forget his animated entertaining as he engaged us to “Be Our Guest” and so much more. James is survived by four sisters, Joyce Baran with her husband Al of Stratford, Jacquie Mac Donald of Stratford, Jamie Elliott with her husband Dan of Alabama, and Joan Fries of Shelton, nieces and nephews, Kate Elliott of Bethlehem, PA, Daniel Elliott of Alabama, Roger Fries and his wife Heidi of Shelton, Debbie Fries and Whitney Donnelly of New Hampshire, and Margaux Caniato and her husband Michele of Westport with his great nephews Luca and Paolo Caniato, and former wife Catherine Arnett and her wife Ava Arnett of Stratford. In addition to his beloved parents, James and Catherine, James was also predeceased by one sister, Jeannette Mac Donald.
