James R. Lincoln, 59, of South Bend, IN, passed away on Friday February 16, 2007 at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH.
He was born on September 11, 1947 to the late Roger M. and Frances E. (Johnson) Lincoln in Logansport, IN. James has lived in South Bend since 1969, coming from Winamac, IN.
Mr. Lincoln was employed as a C.P.A. for American Oak in North Judson, IN for the past two years.
On December 19, 1970, he married Rebecca J. Anderson in Kewanna, IN. She survives.
Along with his loving wife Rebecca, he is survived by his two daughters, Leslie M. Lincoln and her husband Dennis Halterman of Madison, WI; Sara B. (husband Adam) Edwards of South Bend, IN; two granddaughters, Lauren Elizabeth Halterman and Kahlan Maree Edwards; and two sisters, Karla (husband Jim) Fagan of South Bend, IN; and Nancy (husband Brad) Fowler of Walton, IN.
Mr. Lincoln was a 1972 graduate of Indiana University South Bend. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War; and a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 14000.
