James R. “Jim” Dubbs, 39, of Bethlehem, died Thursday, April 9, 2009, in his home. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Charles W. Dubbs, Sr. who died in 2006 and Jean (Hartnett) Dubbs with whom he resided. Jim was a 1987 graduate of Saucon Valley High School. He worked in construction and roofing for many years. He enjoyed frisbee golf, woodworking, NASCAR and supporting his favorite team, the Oakland Raiders. He was also a member of the (BVFHA) Bethlehem Home Assoc. He will be sadly missed by his entire family. Survivors: mother Jean at home; sisters Deborah Santly and her husband Randy of Franklin, Mass., Cheri Albertson and her husband Barry and Jean L. Dubbs all of Easton; brothers Charles W. Dubbs, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Ellicott City, Md. and David Dubbs and his wife Sharon of Coplay; aunts and uncles; many nieces and nephews. He was also survived by his faithful companion, Jazz.
