James Quentin Nash, 75, passed away May 10, 2016, in Tallahassee.
A son of James Harvey Nash and Mamie Clark Hutchison Nash, of blessed memory. He was born on February 28, 1941, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Also preceding him in death are siblings, Margaret Nash Burgman, Laura Nash High, Edith Nash Keller, and Robert Nash. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and retired from K-Mart and Dollar General as a manager. He enjoyed traveling and trip planning, photography, gardening, anything Western, writing, and was an excellent archivist. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Rita M. Nash; stepson, Gene Kelley; siblings, William Greer Nash, Linda Nash Harrel, Carol Nash Rogers; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Don Martin, Jean Gillard, and Mary Coman; numerous nieces and nephews.
