Horace Donald Neese, age 89, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on Sunday, May 9, 2021.
He was born on December 6, 1931, in Newnan, GA to the late James Russell Neese and Gertie Hanson Neese. Along with his parents, Donald as he was known by friends and family, is preceded in death by his wife, Christine Boyd Neese; daughter, Ann Neese McCannon; brothers, J.R. Neese, James Neese, Charlie Neese and sister, Shirley Neese Jones. Donald is survived by his sons, Robert Mote and Debra, Curtis Mote and his wife Pat; grandchildren, Shannon Cochran, Scott Mote, Tara Williams, Shane Williams, Chris Freeman; 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers, Gene (Frances) Neese of Newnan, Fred (Pat) Neese of Carrollton; sister, Gail Neese Rai of Pine Mountain. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
