James Payne, 96, of Pimento passed away on May 18, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. He was born October 11, 1923 in Vigo County to Edgar Payne and Janie Sharpe Payne. Jim and his family were life members of Mt.
Jim is survived by his three daughters, Connie Poleski (Mike), Kathie Drake (David) and Darla Gordon (John); grandchildren, Jim Poleski, Laura Murphy, Amber Limerick, Jeff Drake (Denise), Leslie Mallory (Andrew), and Scott Gordon, and seven great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Ruth who passed away April 25, 2019, and his brothers Keith Payne(Helen) and Paul Payne (Doris).
