James Paul Snyder, 91, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 in Franciscan Health surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 26, 1930 in Scranton, PA to the late George R. and Anna Catherine (Carey) Snyder. Jim married the love of his life, Ruth Ann (Lyon) Snyder on July 19, 1952; she survives.
Jim served in the United States Army and National Guard during the Korean Conflict.
Jim was a member of the Msgr. Downey #3660 Knights of Columbus having served as Grand Knight for the 1977/1978 year. He was also active in the Bishop Chatard Assembly #245 and was always ready to lead the rosary in a moments notice. He and his wife Ruth were long-time members of St.
