James (Jim) Paul Kallenborn, Jr. passed away peacefully on August 5, 2024 due to illness. He was supported by hospice care, family, and friends. He was predeceased by his father, James Kallenborn. Jim was born in Barberton, Ohio on May 17, 1959, and spent his early years there before moving to Virginia with his family. After graduating from Washington Lee High School in Arlington County, He attended George Mason University, then transferred to James Madison University, where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Science. He excelled as a student and had a knack for all things mechanical, fixing and maintaining equipment- around the house, the car, and the yard. This led to a career as a mechanical contractor, specializing in HVAC, where he held multiple certifications and licenses in that field.
