James P. Yeager, 84, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday January 30, 2015 at 8:05 pm in Springhill Village. He was a retired Storeroom Supervisor for Wabash Fibre Box (Weston Paper) James was born February 23, 1930 in Toledo, OH to James G. Yeager and Dema M. (Swinger) Yeager. He is survived by his wife, Betty (Eldridge) Yeager, whom he married May 26, 1952; sons, Monte Yeager and wife Carol of Lebanon, IN and Lonnie Yeager and wife Janet of Glen Rose, TX; grandchildren, Alicia Yeakley, Gregger Yeager, and Nathan Yeager; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Nancy L. Yeager of Streeter, IL and Janet S. Bell of Sullivan, IN and sister-in-law, Martha Gorham of Louisiana. James was United States Marine Corps veteran having fought in the Korean War, was a life-member of Lawton-Byrum Post #972 VFW and a member of American Legion Post #346. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and walking.
