James P. Kulp, Sr., 55, of 937 Trimble Road, Trout Run, died Monday, March 21, 2011 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
Jim and his wife, the former Susan M. Younes, have been married for eight years.
Jim retired from Smurfit-Stone Container Corp.
Born March 25, 1955 in Williamsport, he was the son of Lester and Helen Morgan Kulp.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, James P. Kulp, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC; daughters, Heather M. Kulp of Boiling Springs, SC and Jessica R. (Richard) Holland of Moore, SC; a brother, Lester E. (Patricia) Kulp, Jr. of Trout Run; sisters, Linda L. Williams of Limerick and Louise M. (Jack) Scampone of Williamsport; grandchildren, Kyle, Noah and Alex Kulp and several nieces and nephews including Jake, Joe, Jack and Chris.
The family suggests contributions in Jim’s name be made to the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge of Central PA, 125 Lucy Ave., Hummelstown, PA 17036.
