James Newton McLemore 70, of Adkins, Texas, previously of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Jim was born in Pearisburg, VA to the late Laura F. and James E. McLemore.
Jim is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cynthia Sue Skinner-McLemore, and between them they have four children; Antoinette (Toni) D. McLemore, Victoria (Vikki) A. McCarthy-Bastnagel (husband James), Arthur (Dub) Hedge (wife Sunie), James C. (Chuck) McLemore (wife Michelle). Jim was the proud Grandfather of 12; Buddy, Terry, Jeromy, Kristi, Christian, Nik, Nala, Caelen, Ethan, Braden, Sarah, and Benny, and Great Grandfather of 6; Nora, Keenan, Loleeca, Marley, Daniel, and Giovanni. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Barbara J. Skinner (Hazel) and sister Charlotte Hunter of Virginia.
