James H. McPherson, age 78, of Columbiana, died at 12:50 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center in Columbiana. He was born February 11, 1939 in Harmony, Pennsylvania the son of the late James W. and Arline E. (Saucer) McPherson. Jim worked for Crucible Steel as a steel worker.
His wife, Blanche April “Sissy” (Martin) McPherson, whom he married December 27, 1997, preceded him in death on October 23, 2014.
Survivors include a son, Jim McPherson of Biloxi, Mississippi; 3 grandchildren, 4great-grandchildren and a sister, Gloria Doughty of East Liverpool.
