James (Jim-Fred) McNeal of Scottsdale, AZ passed away with his furry friend Bandit and daughter by his side at Sherman Hospice Home on October 7, 2015. He was born in New Sharon, Iowa to Lee and Mamie McNeal August 22, 1922. Jim was a devoted husband to Betty his wife of 35 years. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him. Jim was a pilot in the Pacific during WW II. Jim earned his bachelor degree in 1949, after graduating he took a position with Catalina clothing where he worked until 1970. At which time he and Betty moved to HI where they enjoyed 27 beautiful years where he continued his career in the clothing industry. Jim was an active mason. He was past potentate for the Aloha Shrine Temple. Jim and Betty returned to the mainland to begin their RV travels.
